
That’s right. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter managed to take a picture of the Phoenix lander as it was in the process of landing. You can clearly see the parachute, lander, and even the ropes connecting the two. This is what we humans can do when we set our minds to something.

Taken from the International Space Station, it’s the earth over the Pacific ocean. You can see the sun reflected in the water. So pretty it almost made me cry the first time I looked at it.
